Here are the Speakers and Performers for Fashion for Charity Show 2012:
Founder & CEO of FemFessionals
Violette Sproul has always enjoyed bringing women together. In 1999, in Raleigh North Carolina, Violette founded Five Points Fitness, a private Pilates/Wellness boutique for women only. She had the talent of pairing groups of women into fitness classes based on their personalities. She ran a successful Pilates Studio for 7 years connecting women and changing their lives both through their newfound friendships and their newly fit physiques.Violette became involved with a group in Raleigh called “Chix in Biz”. The organization was founded by Elizabeth Galecke and later received its 501 3 C status. The group was created to assist self-employed women through networking and education, while always serving their community. The group inspired Violette and propelled her studio forward to the utmost success through the connections she made within the group and the tips provided during their meetings.Violette moved back home to Miami Florida in 2007 and was seeking a “Chix in Biz” organization to once again assist with business connections. After searching for the right fit, and not being successful in her search, she craved to once again, create a new concept to bring women together. She invited a few colleagues to a lunch to discuss the concept, and in 2009 Femfessionals was formed.
Violette Sproul resides in Key Biscayne with her husband and their three children. Violette served on the Board of Directors for CHARLEE Homes for Children, Mercy Hospital Foundation, Urban Environment League of Miami, Bayfront Park Management Trust, YWCA of Miami, and as a Board of Trustee Member for Dade Heritage Trust. Born August 11 as Nicola Charles, the eldest of seven children, to the late Luckener Charles and Beatrice Charles. As the oldest child, she quickly evolved into her mother’s greatest support system. Although this role resulted in her dreams being temporarily shelved, it fine tuned her sense of discipline, organization, and responsibility. As years passed, she pursued several career paths but, the reality that only true happiness comes when we do what we love continued to rest in her soul.
